Nilkanth Charitra (Gujarati)

Nilkanth Charitra is a brief illustrated introduction to the divine journey of Nilkanth, Bhagwan Swaminarayan's name during his travels, through the lengths and breadths of India. A part of the curriculum for Satsang Examination, this book is one of the four textbooks for the second-level exam (Satsang Pravesh).

These interesting and inspiring anecdotes from the Nilkanth's travels provides an insight into the world of his stern austerities, the people he met, his travels in the Himalayas, his adventures in the rainforests of Bengal, his devotion in the Pilgrim Places of South India and how he finally settled in a small village in Gujarat called Loj. Based on the established scriptures of the Swaminarayan Sampradaya, this account of the extraordinary travel will awaken the varied interests of youths and inspire them to higher spiritual endeavour. For the convenience of the reader, a map indicating Nilkanth's travels has also been incorporated.
